The Wine ‘N’ Divine Capital of India[part 1]
Nashik, the wine ‘n’ divine capital of India, it contains more than a wine glass, trust me, I myself am a Nashikkar, it’s been 11.5 yrs since my family is settled in this city. Nashik has been holding the ‘’Wine Capital’’ title from 1999 with the Sula vineyards, Sula has been estb.in 1999 by Rajeev Sawant. You can have wine tour there and there are stays inside the vineyards. So, let’s talk about the divine tourist spots. The one I would totally recommend is the Trimbakeshwar Shiva Jyotirlinga temple, always crowded but the experience THE BEST, it took 31 yrs to make that temple, it was built by Shri. Nana Saheb Peshawa. Then comes Ram Kund, it is actually a neighbourhood in Nashik, but inside of it there is Ramghat, then you can attend the Goda aarti, and then head to Shree Ganga Godavari Mandir, then Shree Kala Ram Mandir, where Honourable Shri. Narendra Modi ji have went there to seek blessings of the Holy Ram. You have Pandav Leni caves as well, which were named after the heroes of the Epic Mahabharata, The Pandavas. Now, let’s move to other places, a muesuem that has the history of all types of coins, the Shanti Krishna Coin Muesuem. After a 5 min drive from the mueseum comes a fort that marks the birth of Lord Hanuman which is situated between Nashik and Trimbekeshwar that is Anjaneri, it is a pilgrimage site for hikers. In the Niphad tehsil, lies the Pimplegoan town, which is famous for its Baswant Honeybee park. Also just 14 km apart from Nashik city comes the Gangapur Dam, which the longest earthen dam in Maharashtra. Nashik district is most liked by trekkers as Nashik has many forts and hiking sites.
